Any bets???I havent been on in awhile, but I had to let it be known that I am hoping Pavlik gets KTFO and the hype ends. I havent like Pavlik for a long time. Waaaay before he put in ass beating on Miranda. I dont know what it is, but he bothers the **** out of me. Abraham doesnt bother me..... Just Pavlik.
So to all you fans, I am telling you now be ready to feel the pain! Your hype machine is about to run into a brick wall. Enjoy your final hours.

sounds like hopkins is prepared to accept defeat if it happens..that's a first
as for not liking Pavlik, i dont know man...this guys hasnt done ANYthing for me to even think about hating him..he fights, he gets hit, he hits back...no primadona antics, no smack talk, no payday holdups, no weigh-in problems..
to the thread starter, maybe its because he has Miranda plastered on his sig and avy and that a Miranda win over Pavlik would have given him a shot at taylor? who knows...this kid is good for boxing...and this is coming from a NON-white guy NOT living in the midwestComment

Well, Kelly Pavlik is young, so he has time to build a good resume. There could be some great fighters out there, who we have yet to know anything about, who may emerge in the next three to five years.
Anyway, I guess I stick to names that are current, since I know that's what you really want to know. Besides, Jermain Taylor being on his "victims list" twice, Joe Calzaghe and Arthur Abraham, whom you mentioned, would help. Also, Winky Wright at middleweight or even super middleweight would be a nice add. If Pavlik wants to try his luck at light heavyweight, then there's Chad Dawson. Names like Glen Johnson, Antonio Tarver and Roy Jones probably won't be available if and when Pavlik decides to stick to light heavyweight full time. Though, I will add that if Pavlik can do what has never been done before, which is knocking out Bernard Hopkins, that could make a huge statement.Comment
