The Knock down against Zuniga was legit, but Pav was not hurt. The knockdown against McKart was not even a knock down, it was a slip that was ruled incorrectly.
Yes I have seen it. I thought it was a pretty sweet left hook from what I remember. I didnt think Pavlik was hurt badly, definitely buzzed though.

Joe C dosen't want to see Chad. Chad has too much going for himself right now. He has heart, speed, decent power, and a helluva jab.And going 24 rounds with 2 of the best in the division has him ready for anybody at 175. Why would Joe want to risk his record IF he gets past RJJ?(Who I think is going to to beat Joe anyway)

Chad has two weaknesses, his chin and his inability to get past a high guard. Joe wouldn't be able to exploit either of those. Too young and too slick for Calzaghe at this point, he should stick to the senior tour.

I want to see both Calzaghe/Dawson and Dawson/Pavlik. However, Chad stated in his post fight press conference against Tarver that he is not going below 175, and I'm not sure if Bob Arum would send Kelly up that high, and Calzaghe as of now is doing a Bernard Hopkins( picking and choosing opponents) so i doubt he would take the fight unless its only for money.

Pavlik IMO has a much better chance at beating Dawson than Joe.

In boxing sense, yes. But a Calzaghe-Pavlik showdown will no doubt pull better numbers.

I say leave Joe out of it and let Pavlik fight Dawson. At least Pavlik is searching for challenges along with Dawson. Joe does not want any challenges..
Couldn't agree with you more sir.

After I saw his dominating performance against Tarver I completely agree. Obviously Joe doesn't want 2 fight Pavlik, so lets just stop all that discussion. Pavlik Should focus on The Middleweight division for a bit longer. Preferably a unification with Marquez.

I would right now, it would be the number 1 and number 2 light heavyweights fighting so it does have more significance that Pavlik-Calzaghe right now.
