      In a sense.

But Toney's career is riddled with too much controversy to ever be considered an all time great.

        You're still being awfully general.

Toney's career is littered with too many good wins to not be considered an all time great.

Prime Reggie Johnson was no joke as mentioned before.

Toney was always inconsistent. I don't think this is the performance you should go by to determine who would win in a fight between Toney and Calzaghe just as you should not only look at Calzaghe's performances against Reid, Mitchell or Hopkins to make up your mind about how Calzaghe would do against Toney.

Toney handled Tim Littles and Nunn's speed just fine, against Roy Jones he was not in appropriate condition to fight against one of the fastest fighters of all time. Jones is a bad match-up for Toney either way.

He was out of stamina after throwing 300 punches against Jones when in his previous bouts he had landed 400 on some of his opponents without any problems.

            Nicely put.

Speaking of 400 punches, Toney is one of only three boxers to land that many punches in a fight...and he's done it four times.

              YOU asking for clarification?

I gave my opinion. You called it "false". You're the one with the issue here.

              Run along.

Everything about the Welsh Rabbilt is overrated.

Joe doesn't have the power to keep Richard Simmons honest.

If Joe had the goods to beat a Prime JT he sure as hell didn't do **** in the ring to PROVE it.

You're a ***** for trying to hype that joke of a "fighter".

And he's still 10x's better than Joke Calzhage.

Calzaghe actaully called out Toney after the Jeff Lacy fight. Toney of course predicted that Lacy would "destroy dat white boi".

I don't think he would hurt him but he'd have enough sting in his jab to keep Toney at distance and then jump inside where he works best.
Toney would lure him to thew ropes act hurt role his shoulder and fire that over hand right and send Calzaghe to the seat o fhis pants. Joe has a higher work rate but Toney is a fantastic counter puncher and a deffensive artist in there. His Philly shell D and qucik hands would give Joe something to think about. if Joe got lazy with his jab or threw those pitty pat combos he would get countered and Toney would make him pay. toney has been able to take punches from MW to SHW in my book he has a IRON JAW and Joe would not be able to hurt him. that KD you showed in that VID was a flash KD and Toney was not hurt. Saem as when peter floored Toney in their 2nd fight. It was a jab that caught James off gaurd and put him down he was NOT hurt. James would take everything Joe had and spit it back at him.
