Jeff Lacy was seriously overrated and im English and im not favoring anyone here. But facts are facts Jeff Lacy was struggling with the likes of Omar Sheika, Syd Vanderpool, before he got a beaten off Joe Calzaghe. The only reason Jeff Lacy got overhyped was because of his Amateur success, and because he beat a shot well undertrained Robin Reid, Jeff Lacy was never half of what the hype would of led you to believe.

Toney opened his mouth about Joe so Joe challenged him to get down to a respectable weight for a fight.
Dude Joe Calzaghe fought Jeff Lacy in March 4th of 2006 at that time James was already a HW and he fought Hasim Rahman March 18th of the same year and he weighed in at 237lbs for that fight. So he was nOT a crusier weight sir he was in his 6th HW bout and he already beat Holy and Ruiz by that time. So if you are going to argue at least your facts straight. he called Toney out when he was 237 lbs abd had no chace of dropping down to fight him.

Everytime a arguement breaks out over who Joe can or cannot beat you limey b@st@rds bring up Jeff Lacy. Come on fellas jeff had a terrible night. He was very green and in hostal territory. the fact remains Joe beat his ass but still couldn't put him down for the count. When Joe faces the older slower less mobile Jones in November and the fight goes the distance then waht? Are you going to say Joe beat Roy now he is the greatest of all time? Tarver KO'd Roy, Glen Johnson KO'D Roy that menas they must be better then Joe if he can only out point an over the hill RJJ and over the hill B Hop? Let Joe get in the ring with someone dangerous like Pavlik, Taylor, Dawson, and KO them then talk ish my man.

I am starting to wonder if Dirk Diggler and bsrizpac are attached at the hip! LOL

If you see one of them, the other one is not far behind.

On another note. I cannot see anything but a Toney win against Joe. Toney just did everything so well and could not be deterred.

Mate, I said Toney was at Cruiser by the time Calzaghe was still coming up at 168. So Calzaghe didnt "wait for Toney to leave the weight class" as you stated.

James Toney is not a fighter who should be weighing 237lb. He opened his mouth and Calzaghe called him on it. He had no response.

"Limey bastards" lol nice to see you letting it all out.

Others covered it rather nicely for Toney. I'll let your tard "analysis" stand: AKA Calzaghe is AWESOME CUZ HE'S from ze UK- TONEY IS A FAT YANK so he could never win.

Always hilarious to see what you post and the real motivations behind it.

They'll say Jones was still close to his prime and how "it's obvious Joe was slipping."

I really don't get what your saying ? how is Cruiserweight not out of Joe Calzaghe's weightclass ? Cruiserweight is two weightclasses above Super Middleweight, and atleast 20 pounds heavier.
