James Toney is arguably one of the greatest fighters in History. Calzaghe isnt...sorry.He's good but not like that.

Toney would make that Euro champ look like an amatuer..

If the 7-11 rounds of the Joe Calzaghe vs Sakio Bika fight was on youtube, I'd be the first to post it..
Your Wales hero looked like turd in that fight
He was getting owned by a CONTENDER!!

Joe is a overated fighter.. Period.. An old Roy will show it.
I agree with this. Your last sentence is what I think is going to happen as well.

People forget that Reggie Johnson was a great fighter, that was overshadowed by Jones and Toney. He lost a split decision to Toney and a split decision to Tarver when he was past it, beat Steve Collins( and other good contenders) and won major titles at middleweight and light heavyweight.

Yeah I'm sure Toney would be scared of the thousand hand slaps of death

I wonder how a Chad Dawson vs James Toney at 175 would look like. IMO I think Chad Dawson would win because Toney always had problems against fighters with fast hands that couldn't be countered when they there on the offense.

Toney would be an awkward style match for Calzaghe definitely but I can see Joe outworking him. Toney has the tendency to get very lazy in fights, sit back and play defense. Someone with Joe's workrate and speed would jump all over that as Roy Jones did.

Your last statement is so false it's almost a crime. No one has ever done to Toney what Roy did to him - not before him, not after....not even now that he's 40, a fat blob, and fighting heavyweights.

So to just assume, Calzaghe would jump all over him like Roy did is laughable. Calzaghe is a perfect style matchup for Toney, the master of the right hand counterpunch. I think you need to look a little more in depth than assuming you can "jump all over" James Toney. Calzaghe is not Roy Jones.
