Juanma Not Interested in a Gerry Penalosa Bout

I don't understand on how this possible undercard matchup could be about money, when its probably going to be one of the biggest PPV fights in history. I would definitely take less money for this kind of exposure. This applies to both sides.

I kinda agree with you..but the fact remains that Gerry wants too much money for this fight..those are the facts. As far as exposure, it will come in due time for JuanMa...he in considered a rising star in Boxing and there is a positive buzz about him. I am not going to build him up just yet because there are big fights out there for him.
If he ever fights Penalosa he blows him out of the water. Not to take anything away from Penalosa but youth sometimes overcomes experience (see Tarver vs Dawson). I give Penalosa a better chance at beating Mares. There are other big fights out there for Gerry or Juanma...like the winner of Molitor vs Caballero, two very good and young guys. Or a fight with either Vasquez or Marquez..you can't go wrong with either one of these fights. Gerry needs to stop thinking he is Pacquiao and demanding so much money....take a little less and fight or not take less and get crap.
