        Vitali was stopped because he did not go the full distance.

        The fight is listed as a TKO.

        Liston was stopped against Ali in the first fight when he retired with a shoulder injury at the end of round six.

            The difference is, Ali was dominating Liston, outboxing him easily.

            If you think Byrd was dominating Vitali, then you're a delusional Klitschko hater.

                lits know liston was cheating in that fight and when ali's eyes cleared up he continued beating liston down
