Ali kills Klitschko inside of 6. And I'm a fan of Wlad's. Ali just has everything Klitschko has and then some, better chin, more speed, better footwork, etc....

Edit: Wlad's only advantage would be power but Ali's beard could take anything he had and then some. He took the best from Frazier, Liston, and Foreman for Christ's sake.
No. Clay wasn't superman, he was just a superbly talented fighter with mediocre power but lightning fast hands, savant level ring-smarts, and great stamina (early in his career, later he'd gas).

IF he were to beat Klitschko, it'd be a decision, not a stoppage. He also tended to have trouble with big guys with a good jab. Wladimir would've given Clay big, big trouble. I think Clay probably takes it the distance and wins a comfortable decision, but the risk of him getting KO'd by Wladimir would be very, very high, and he'd have needed to be extremely cautious, taking no chances, and no showboating.

Anybody who can't see how dangerous Wlad would be to anybody in the history of this sport ought to be watching pro bowling or something, as you know nothing about Boxing. Foreman actually could've beaten Clay, if he hadn't been such a moron at the time. He had the tools, he just punched himself out so completely that my 11 year old daughter could've KO'd the big fool. Credit goes to Clay for making him crazy enough to do just that, too.

I somewhat idolize Clay myself, but some of you guys are really nuts over him.

              Ali was NOT invincible

Wlad's massive size, skill, excellent jab, athleticism and 1 punch KO power would give Ali A LOT of problems.

Prime for Prime....Wlad would definitely be capable of beating Ali

It would be a hard fight but with the exception of power, Ali could do everything that Wlad could and a lot more. Hes more mobile, has better foot work, fights better going off the back foot, has underestimated power himself and the stamina is a no contest. He would definitely stop Wladimir.

                    Yo, CLAY was the ****!

He was the ROBERT ZIMMERMAN of boxing! Not the CURTIS JACKSON that some claim. CLAY was the bomb.

CLAY at his best was like hearing REGINAL DWIGHT play "Your Song" at his prime, and live.

People like you, who think CLAY would struggle, have more warped thinking than PAUL GADD.

(I just realised that no-one is going to get this. And this may be my finest ever post on the internet.)

Wlad was big and slow, and I doubt he had more power than Liston, Foreman, or Shavers, all of whom Ali stood up too and beat. Ali was invincible and the only times he lost was after the Parkinson's set in or he was out of the game too long. Norton only won because he got a lucky punch that broke Ali's jaw, and the decision was debatable.
