Obviously depends on what Ali we're talking about.

A prime Ali maybe even wins by stoppage...even a later career Ali - the rope a dope, hold and punch Ali wins by stoppage. Last few fight Ali loses, but I favor Ali in most scenarios. Too quick, too athletic, Wlad's chin too suspect, even with the size disadvantages...

That was at the very early stages on his career, when he was a prospect. He was hit by Foreman, Norton, Shavers, Frazier, Spinks, Liston, Chuvalo Wlad would no hurt him on the other hand Wlad has a glass jaw and Ali could dent it, Ali would stop him late or decision him.

People think of Ali as if he's some kind of god. Yet, he lost at age 29 to Frazier and at age 31 to Norton (and was given a gift decision in a fight with Norton after that).

Ali was a very good, slick, skillful fighter, but he was far from unbeatable - even in his prime.

that was a very unfocused ali, he didnt take cooper seriously and nearly paid dearly for it
