hopkins maybe old but his defense is hard to penetrate. i pick pavlik to win over the old man but i doubt if kelly can knock this old man out.

george foreman was older than hopkins in his comeback years but he was not knock out in any of his fight.

I realy think this fight is going to be boring. Pavlik will chase BHop around the ring and Bernard will throw 10 punches a round. It will be like most Hopkins fights. Hopkins will hang in there, never really get hurt, land enough to win 4 or 5 rounds, and lose a close decision. Of course he'll say he won and the judges are blind. The problem for Bernard in his later years is that they don't count not getting hit a lot as a way to win. You have to throw to win.

Pavlik is going to be surprised how hard it is to hit Hopkins flush. Being an accumulation puncher, I seriously doubt Kelly is going to be able to land enough hard punches to really hurt Bernard. If he tries to load up, he will get countered, bad.

pavlik has to hope old ber-nard will gas out in the late rounds, making him easier to hit. i think kelly will have trouble finding ber-nard in the first 4 or 5 rounds, then as he starts to tire out kelly will land some combinations. pavlik can't fade in the late rounds, this will be where he needs to step on the gas. this fight will be very ugly to watch, lots of holding, clinching and fouling, and Hops running. pavlik's agression will win the fight
