The fight will change when Bernard rushes in with his head down and gets caught with a flush uppercut. From then on the fight will be different and close to being over. Bernard doesn't have enough in the tank nor enough power. Pavlik by 9th rd KO.

i dont see him hitting hopkins anything like enough to knock him out. he's got power, big power, but he's not a one punch knockout artist, how regularly he hits bhop will determine how this fight goes, and i dont see it happening that much, hopkins will be grabbing and spoiling non-stop, he wont let pavlik get his shots off. I hate watching hopkins but i can genuinely see him winning this.

Honestly, if Kelly comes into the ring too heavy on fight night, he's screwed. Training camp is easier when you dont ahve to make as much weight, but look at Winky Wright in the Hopkins fight. He came in right at 170, looked slow and lethargic. Hopkins has a trick up his sleeve, I can feel it. The only real trick I thought he had for the Calzaghe fight was his "Dream Team", which I immediately thought would increase his stamina. But being that he's 43, that assumption wasn't very true.
Hopkins' "trick" was that he thought he could circle around and mkae Joe Calzaghe walk into his punches. It worked when he knnocked Joke down, but wasn't effect late in the fight.

No chance. Pavlik is getting KO'd.

Pavlik is no Zaghe. He's got nowhere near his speed defense and variety of punches. Pavlik's got a great jab and a great right hand, and a good inside game, but stylewise he won't be able to beat Bhop cause he'll have to chase him and take risks, and when he does that he'll pay. He doesn't have Zaghe's chin either.

                      think about it

hopkins will weigh close to 190 with pavlik being 180 ish on the day of the fight, giving away 10 lbs pavlik will be slower again and his punch will not carry that far. i can see hopkins putting on a tarver esque performance by standing out of range against the taller fighter.
are you serious? 190? hopkins never rehydrates THAT much, he's never been that big before......that's pretty much why he's been able to continue fighting for so long. he keeps himself in great shape, even when he's not fighting.....he'll weigh no more than 176-177.....

but i do agree w/ you on the clinching thing....pavlik wont have the chance to feel "comfortable" in the ring, or get into any kind of rythymn......
