I have no doubt that Hatton had a HOF caliber career. Like P4P though the HOF is just a matter of opinions in most cases.
That's a very bold statement, I agree Hatton was the legit champ at 140 and held a belt at 147 but no way was he the real champ in 2 divisions. Also besides beating Tszyu and barely beating Collazo, what prime or near prime top fighter has Hatton beaten? I like Ricky he seems like a great person and he's good for boxing, but HOF? IMO not yet.

If he'd lost a close decision, it might've been different.

I just support our fighters naturally - just wanna see them do well. Im always honest about their abilities too. I dont talk them up to being something they're not.

I never really rated Witter or liked him as person, I felt he made a name off Hatton without actually achieving much himself. There are a few I dont like, but people dont really pay attention to that on here. People tend to start name-calling and generalising if they start to lose grip on an argument with me. Im used to it and its quite funny seeing how worked up they get. Cheers for the kudos anyway.

        What songs?
McFadden & Whitehead - Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now: Because the version I DL'd said it is from the Boogie Nights soundtrack, which is where Dirk Diggler is from I thought.

Ali & Gipp - Go Head: One of the lines at the end of the rap song is "Gotta dig deep, nicknamed Dirk Diggler". Definitely a winner.

Im sorry but hatton is not a hof fighter, his best two wins are fighters who were not in there prime.

Well obviously Ricky is much prouder of his wins over a shot Castillo and an old Tszyu.

Few more big wins and maybe he would of convinced Hatton to fight him cuz
              it was on the cards..
Im not sure Witter can even win a title again let alone get close to the rickster...
Exactly, any pressure Witter was putting on Hatton for a match up is gone, Witter's older than Hatton and he had his chance to make the public demand a fight. Coming off a loss to the relatively unknown Bradley is hardly a good leveraging position to be in. Hatton-Witter will never happen.

Probably it was a combination of people that hate Mayweather, and those that thought Hatton's style would trouble him. I myself thought Hatton's pressure style would rattle Floyd but he proved me and his doubters wrong. But let's be somewhat fair to Hatton, he was the smaller, more limited fighter going up against the p4p best.

Hatton seems to have lost something, both in physical ability and a love for the sport.
