Winky vs Arthur Abraham

It really depends on what Wright has left, because he hasn't fought in over a year and he didn't exactly look great then. This pick is hard for the simple fact that Abraham doesn't have a busy style so him winning on work rate alone most likely wouldn't happen, so i will lean toward Wright. Since the fight would be fought a tactical standpoint, then Wright clearly would have the advantage, and for Abraham to win he would have to do something that has never done before, which is to stop Winky and i can't see that happening.

i favor winky because of his skills, but not by much. abraham is very live as an underdog imho.

Who do you guys think wins this. I think Winky is a great fighter, but honestly he has not fought in the last 16 months, he is 37 yrs old, and he was last seen as a fatass hugging hopkins for 12 rounds (im not saying he initiated the hugging by the way). Can he beat a hungry young lion like AA?

By the way AA wanted to set this fight up about a year ago and Winkys response was that AA is a nobody and Winky only fights in big fights. I cant really blame winky as he is at that stage of his career where he is looking for a couple big paydays, but it seems like HBO is really pushing Winky to get off his ass.

If Arthur wins its because of Winkys ring rust..but from top to bottom Winky Wright is a better fighter...age and inactiveness might prove me wrong.

Winky would be off a what, 18 month layoff? For some reason I think Abraham is a perfect matchup for him. He has a good chin, and throws a lot more punches out of his shell than Abraham does. I just dont know how much juice he has left.
