nothing actually suggests that Marquez is better than Diaz and Campbell. He had a lot more trouble against Casamayor than he should have, and Diaz recently dominated someone that Casamayor struggled with. that puts them on fairly even terms at Lightweight.

dont get me wrong, Marquez should be rated way higher than Diaz and Campbell, this is his third weight class in a pretty short amount of time. but Lightweight is different from Featherweight. he might not be the same fighter at this weight.

If this fight happens again I expect Diaz to try to fight Campbell like he did Katsidis. Try to fight on outside and keep moving, if he fought Katsidis like he did Campbell he would have 2 losses right now.
