He never really had the opportunity. They tried to get Hamed for a long time, but once Hamed moved over to Steward, Steward admitted that he deliberately avoided a fight with Marquez as they thought he was more dangerous for him than either Morales or Barrera with the style match up. Turned out it didn't really matter as Barrera humiliated him anyway.

It was never really up to Marquez anyway. He was always willing to fight anyone, it just happened that his management made a lot of bad decisions that they thought would end up for the best. Sadly, they never did until the first Pac fight, which then led on to the bigger fights.

that's some bs coming from Diaz's camp. after signing the deal with casa, Jmm has said several times that he's moving forward with his career and not chasing a rematch with pac. it sounds more like diaz's camp is fixated with marquez rather than focusing on campbell because they probably figure he stands a better chance against jmm.

And I agree, Famoso is a few years past his best now.

Are you guys considering a rematch with Diaz in January and if so would Campbell still be fighting in November or December?

At this point, Nate fighting in November or December is probably unlikely.

            Diaz vs Campbell II

Make that happen within the next fight or two for either guy.

yeah Make It Happen, Then Line-up Jmm For The Winner And Jmm Should Look For A Possible Opponent.

Or Better Make A Rematch Against Chris John In Indonasia. Hahahahaha. And Settle For Their Unfinished Business.

              Jmm Vs Chris John Part2.

It Will Be A Good Match Up.

Nate Campbell's "reign" at lightweight will end. I am not hating or disrespecting just my opinion once this rematch is set. I think the worst thing for him could be taking a rematch in the early part of 2009 while being on a 10-12 month layoff or longer.

And is Terry Trekas still in the equation? I am hoping he could step up and make some things happen if he has more pull with King out of the equation.
