well than explain to me how taylor looked better against a few yrs younger bhop? you can not base this statement on an opinion when they have never fought. if anything you can say they are close since both fought bhop close, yet taylor did so against a younger bhop!

Calzaghe looked better in the later rounds against Hopkins, than Taylor did.

The second half of the fight wasn’t close because maybe Hopkins is 43 years old and gassed out. What a horrible excuses fighting in Vegas made him look bad. What about Kessler fighting in Wales everyone against him and his hurt right hand

Pavlik has limited combinations in comparison to Kessler.

Mundine has the best defensive skills at SMW, we can't argue with this.

Now i know you hate the guy. But he will last 12 with Pavlik.

In fact i had an interesting discussion with a member of Pavliks team. There exact words were "Mundine is a hell of a fighter, if he fights some big names, we would love to face him in the future".

I think its pretty debateable that Taylor looked better, in fact I don't think he did. Calzaghe was not able to impress against Hopkins, he was stopped from doing what he wanted, but at no point did Hopkins ever really have the better of it, (yes, yes Joe got KD'd I know, it was flash and Joe was off balance) Calzaghe was the one forcing the fight. Taylor was getting smacked all around the ring by Hopkins towards the end of both fights, and like Calzaghe was not impressive before this.

Beyond that, I think its pretty obvious Calzaghe is the better fighter, he's more skilled, versatile, probably faster in his prime, better chin etc etc.

I just think Kessler stops both Pavlik and Taylor. Taylor has the better chance, if and if, hes confident.

I do think these MW's such as Pavlik and Taylor are still not the elite of SMW. The big guys of the division will continue to be Kessler, Bute and Mundine for the years to come. This may shock a lot of Americans.
