If a fight between Kessler and Pavlik is made, Thompson thinks the result is a given: "I think it's going to be an easy fight for Mikkel. Kessler's speed will be decisive."

This is all perfectly true. If you took away Kessler's speed and footwork you would be left with something remarkably like Kelly Pavlik.

This is all perfectly true. If you took away Kessler's speed and footwork you would be left with something remarkably like Kelly Pavlik.

I'd like to see Kessler vs. Taylor on HBO early next year, assuming they each win their upcoming fights.

A good way to compare Kessler to Pavlik, is to see how well he does against Taylor.

He has called out who's who from MW to LHW. Nobody has yet had the balls (to stay with your language) to face him. (Or perhaps the risk/reward ratio is not perceived good enough).
