The ONLY REASON Joe is taking the fight with Roy now is that he is past his prime and has something to gain. Roy has done Joe a favor by giving him a fight that will prop up his lame "legacy". Joe had it all to lose by taking difficult fights in his prime but he never did. Now, he can fight Roy and win or lose yet still come out with credibility for whatever effort he puts up because everyone thinks Roy is a legend anyway.

Being undefeated for 45 fights, including 20+ world title fights is impressive but it doesnt define Calzaghe. A loss to Roy Jones didnt hurt Hopkins who went on to achieve similar feats to Joe at Middleweight.
