Tito was not "just a WW" though. He was also very dominant in his fights at 154 and had demonstrated that he could carry his power through to 160 with a crushing win over Joppy. It is very unfair on both Tito and Bernard to write Trinidad off as just a WW. Just because you are most effective at one class does not mean you cannot be a top class fighter at higher weights. Was Whitaker just a lightweight? Was SRL just a welterweight?
