I gotta an awsome queston for you. Fighting lower then your natural weight. Is that an advantage or disadvantage?
Note:
Cotto got ROCKED by Mayweather's left overs at 140.

what's williams natural weight? He looked pretty filled at 160 and positive he can go higher than 168. If 147 was his natural division he would have fought a bum there, you know why he fought kolle? He didn't want to go through all that work and stress to make 147 to fight a bum so he fought a bum in a division closer to his natural weight. Agree? of course not!Comment

Your question has been answered.
Boxers can be as skinny as possible, which gives them a height and reach advantage over their opponent. These guys will be taller than their opponents, but will have weaknesses in other areas as a consequence.
They can also be as strong as possible, which leads to having a wider frame and larger muscles. These guys will be shorter than their opponents, but make up for it in other ways.
Most boxers end up somewhere in the middle, but Paul Williams and Mike Tyson are two examples of each case. How would Williams do against Tyson? He'd be destroyed, because the strength and power difference would overcome the height and reach difference.
And part of it is natural body type as well.Comment
