YOu have got to be kidding me if you think that Wright and Pavlik are better then Eubank, Lacy, Reid, Bika, Kessler, etc....
Guys like Ouma and Spinks should not be taken into an equation at all, both of them were put in to Make Taylor look good, and he failed to do so on both occasions.

Eubank, Lacy, Reid, Bika, Kessler are all better than Wright?

Outside of Bika(and maybe Lacy, although that one is very questionable, pre Joe Lacy beats Wright, imo) they would all have a fun time picking powerless, stationary target like Wright.

But I am talking as a sum of all these defenses, drawing with a good, but out of prime fighter is not gonna be counted as much as beating these five.
No matter how you swing it.

Certainly accumulated yes. Eubank even at that age may well have beaten him, Kessler just plain would, Bika and Reid would be close but he'd beat them probably. Kessler would beat him, he's SMW #1. Lacy Joe humiliated. What is likely is that if he faced them all he'd come away with more losses, unlike Joe.

I think a case can be made that Eubank, Kessler and even Reid were better than the Wright that Taylor fought. You are conveniently overlooking the fact that Wright was some way past his best. Plus, Taylor didn't actually win, whereas Calzaghe did against all those guys.

Besides which, that isn't the question is it? Whether one of Taylor's opponents is better than some of Calzaghe's opponents is irrelevant, the question is resume and Calzaghe wins hands down.

I would say beating Eubank and Kessler convincingly is better than getting a very unconvincing draw with Winky.

I dont think Winky at 160 was as good as he was lower down either

Thanks for the replies guys, but I can't agree with **** your saying. I just believe Wright is the superior boxer to all those guys.
