    As for Dempsey, Langford would have picked him apart, Dempsey wasn't on prime Jeffries level. Although he did try to get a fight with Harry Wills (most underrated heavyweight) even if he was past-prime but could have beaten Dempsey.
    I agree about Langford, yet disagree about Wills. The way to beat Dempsey was with speed. I doubt Wills was slow, but by all accounts he was no speed demon of niether hand or foot. I think Dempsey would have bobbed and weaved under Wills punches and smashed him with body shots, breaking him down for 8 or 9 rounds before scoring the ko. This is all guess work of course and just my opinion.
