Sure I'd be worried about the counter punching, the uppercut included, but Clottey isn't a big puncher either.
Required to much movement?? Or did he do too much movement for no reason.

because margarito is not strong either ppl think margarito is strong and he' not.

he's all about chin and workrate.

cotto would dig into clottey's body just like judah did in the early rounds.

clottey is a better version or urkal.

I would'nt even want Cotto risking it against Clottey, he is one tough mofo
A Berto fight would be a nice welcome back.

No suprises something as sad as that gets you excited.

Cotto would destroy Berto, Berto isn't ready for Cotto yet. Cotto also beats Clottey.

That's what I meant to say actually. He did use way too much unneeded movement.

I used to say that. Now I'd just rather see him circle Clottey and outbox him over 12 rounds because other than the lunging right hand Clottey is ineffective from the outside. Inside he's pretty damn solid when he actually throws punches.

agree don't get me wrong...clottey is a good fighter,i always liked him but with his peek a boo style mm i don't really think that would be enough.but again we have to see how cotto comes back.

Yep, Clottey wouldn't be a good fight for a comeback fight, he's big, strong, durable, has a good defense, possesses a relatively high workrate, everything a fighter doesn't want in a comeback fight.

Berto would be the easier fight IMO, and he would get a title in the process, assuming he gets past Forbes this weekend, Berto has speed but isn't that hard of a puncher and has a suspect chin, his defense could also be leaky.

I think Clottey has the perfect style for Cotto. Cotto is a good boxer but a better bodypuncher. He needs to get back to that. Clottey defense is good, but mostly likes to protect his head and front of his body. Cotto's hooks to the body could slow Clottey down the stretch, and Cotto could win a decision. I don't think Clottey gets knocked out by Cotto, but I see Cotto's bodyshots wearing him down to a good decision. We all know Cotto-Berto won't be made at all. Berto would get smoked at the moment, and noway Dibella lets him near Cotto. But I highly doubt the Clottey fight goes down. I see a fight with Collazo more likely, but Cotto-Clottey would be awesome.
