Yeah the fight is going to be great. I actually just found out yesterday Berto is fighting on the same card as Molsey-Mayorga. It's gonna be a great Saturday night!
U got Berto and Mosley winning? Thats the way i see it.
Should be a good test for Berto, i dont think he can stop Stevie so we will get a good long look at him and how he reacts to some of the cute stuff Stevie does in there!

But that is now behind them, they spoke and resolved their differences. Now they are on the same page", said Arum to El Nuevo Dia.

I guess Quitto and his camp still can't grasp the fact he got his **** pushed in by the better fighter in Margarito, they are just full of excuses like old decrepit John McCain un-****ing-believable.

I would like to see Berto get a crack at glass chinned Quitto, throw some powerful quick uppercuts and knock his ass down, or Clottey just covering and countering Quitto and make him his *****. **** Miguel Quitto, I'm thru with that clown, him and his uncle are a bunch of crybabies
go back to your 7-11 you Indian!

I think for Cotto a Berto fight is more dangerous but a Clottey fight is tougher if that makes sense!!!
Makes perfect sense to me. Berto is a much better offensive fighter than Clottey with a higher activity level and more power. Clottey is a great defensive counter-puncher but has no real power and poor workrate. He's a poor man's version of PBF without the great footwork but is physically bigger and more durable.

However, I believe Berto has one of the worst chins of any top welterweight. If Margarito or Cotto connects solid on Berto he'll be flopping all over the canvas trying to get up.

          [QUOTE=anonymousboxing;4109506]VERY good observation amigo!!

Play, I've seen all of Cottos career, I only saw Clottey fight Judah, and he looked impressive. But I haven't seen enough of Clottey to make any final conclusions.

So Break this down for me, cause you sound like you've seen all of both guys. What specifically makes you so sure?
You're not basing this JUST on the fact that Clottey withstood Marg, are you?

IVE SEEN ABOUT 6 OF CLOTTEYS FIGHTS AND TO KEEP IT PLAIN N SIMPLE IN MY OPINION HES JUST TOO STRONG FOR COTTO, HAS BETTER STAMINA & A WAY TOUGHER CHIN. I THINK HE WOULD BE PRESSURING COTTO ALL NIGHT AND I DONT THINK COTTO DOES WELL WHEN HES GETTING PRESSURED. I SEE THIS FIGHT BEING SIMILAR TO THE COTTO-RITO FIGHT BUT CLOTTEY HAS WAY BETTER DEFENSE & BOXING SKILLS THAN RITO SO HE WOULD GET HIT LESS THAN RITO DID.

Clottey & Mayweather are very different style wise other than they are both counter punchers, I see no other similarities.

Yeah I feel Mosley will stop Mayorga probably & Berto will outpoint Forbes. Forbes is a pretty tough and solid fighter so Berto will have his hands full for a change.

Yeah, Berto wants no part of Tony. He probably isn't ready for Cotto or Clottey either.

"After Collazo, bring on Cotto or Mosley," DiBella said. "Margarito is a little too big and it's not the right time, though. We don't mind fighting Clottey, but with all due respect to Joshua, he doesn't bring a lot of money to the table. But if the money is there, we don't have a problem with that fight. I promote welterweights like Kermit Cintron and Carlos Quintana, who are both former champions and viable guys. Andre Berto is going to be in some big fights. This is the end of the learning curve."

As for Cotto, I think he could beat both guys but Clottey would be a much stiffer test. I think he needs to fight a fight like this though, even though he lost to Margarito he is still a top 3 welterweight.

It sucks to be Paul Williams, I wish someone competitive would be willing to fight him now, at least Cintron. But if he keeps winning someone will fight him to unify pretty soon down the line.

Cotto would take any of these two. Berto is too green and I don't think he can take Cotto punishment. Clootey would be a much more competive fight but he doesn't have the heart or stamina to beat Cotto.

Are you serious? Berto is a clown compared to clottey, Cotto would knock berto out at this time in Berto's career. Clottey is by far the harder fight

I actually think Berto could get the better of Clottey the same way i think Miguel could, Clottey for all his good traits and there are many is a bit basic and unimaginative, both guys have better variaty than him.
Williams aint helping himself by moving up IMO, it aint good for the human body to gain and lose lean muscle mass in short periods of time like what Roy did u know, plus he should keep on beating WW so they are forced into a situation where they have to fight him! If miguel gets his **** together and gets back on top i think he will give him a shot. Tony probably just wants to enjoy being champ and make some good money before taking a fight he in his heart knows he might well lose.

I dont think Clottey has any problem in the stamina department or even the heart
