Barrett would be a good opponent...a couple years ago. Now he's the perfect foil. I expect Haye to walk through him.

Barrett's looked very good in his last three fights, better than he did two years ago.

He says he's more focused now, since he's freed himself from his previous obligations to Don King.

This is disappointing. Well, at least it's possibly better than Chapman.

I think Barrett is the right move on Haye's behalf. Barrett is a live opponent.

Yeah right. He's a gatekeeper at best but I'll be impressed if Haye blasts him out of there. I expect to be impressed.

Not hard to look good against ****ty competition. Barrett is an OK fight for now. I don't have a problem with it.

Man you fans aren't never satisfied first when he was said to fight chapman or johnson y'all were like I was expecting more elite fighter...Then Chambers and Barrett got in the picture...Now he has barrett and y'all are saying I wish he would of got james toney damn y'all can't be satisfied for ****...I actually love this fight more than i would the toney fight....because these two guys come with it and are smash mouth in your face brawler...This will not go to decision that's for sure....Haye ko inside 6

I agree with the general concensus here - This is the ideal fight to determine where Haye is heading in the heavyweight division. Barrett isn't top-tier, but he isn't a bum either and will provide enough challenge to show if Haye's really championship material (although I don't think his monicker of "Two Guns" is fitting, Barrett only fires from one barrel - the right).

But just a quick quip - Barrett thinks he doesn't do so well against the big guys? Did he sleep-walk through his Tye Fields knockout?

                      My Prediction

...I say Haye obliterates Barret inside of 6. KO/TKO
