    After months of speculation and numerous pull-outs, former world cruiserweight champion David ‘The Hayemaker’ Haye has today been able to officially name the heavyweight opponent he will face on November 15 at The O2 in North Greenwich. The chosen heavyweight is New York contender Monte ‘Two Gunz’ Barrett, ranked at number six by the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) and a former WBC and WBA world heavyweight title challenger.                 great! look forward to haye finally stepping into heavyweight. Should be a decent fight too, i reckon haye on points with a knockdown or two.

                  Monte Barrett is the perfect opponent for Haye right now - he's only ever lost to good opponents (except for Couser, but he was distracted that night because of problems with Don King) and he's exposed several frauds such as Owen Beck.

                  Because Barrett is the ideal gatekeeper, this fight will enable us to determine whether Haye is a bona fide potential heavyweight champion of if he's just a pretender.
