You have this ass backwards my friend. We know that the best that Roy can conceivably bring to the Ring is something like he was in Tarver 1, in all probability something much less. Calzaghe at his best and even a bit below his best beats that Roy, so in fact it depends which Calzaghe shows up. Roy isn't turning the clock right back, and its misleading to suggest that he could.
then again its your opinion that joe could beat the roy in tarver I...
as well as the fact that roy incorporates a completely different style.. and im unsure of what hes capable of doing with it...
I still believe it completely relies on what roy shows up with... i dont think joe can handle roys hand speed and accuracy, the question is, how often can roy sustain that handspeed... which is why i say it compeltely depends on roy
My **** will be hard for days if Roy stops Joe. I just got goosebumps imaging Roy catching him with a crazy ass combo and Joe stumbling around a la Judah to beat the count, and proceed to get KOd.

All you are really saying here is "Roy used to better than Calzaghe". The fact is that the Roy that Calzaghe might not be able to handle no longer exists, he hasn't shown up in a fight in what, six years? The reality of this fight is that if Calzaghe shows up with even 50% of what he showed against Kessler, Roy has almost zero chance. Saying "if Roy magically gets younger and boxes like he hasn't done in God knows how long then he might beat Joe" is just wishful thinking.
Roys winky type defense should help him more then relying on reflexes alone. Slappy will get countered and he will do the chicken dance in his own piss"peeleft:

Wow, 50% of what he did against Kessler? Thats ridiculous... Kessler is a one dimensional boxer, I cant see how you can even fathom the conversation of comparing these two fighters... and he has shown up for a fight... and has looked better than he has in a long time with a different style... ive said it over and over again and i dont feel like continuing to repeat it... does beating hanshaw and tito mean roy is back? of course it doesnt... but it does look as though he is incorporating a new style that is much more conservative and doesnt rely solely on reflexes, and still uses his in tact hand eye coordination to block punches... blah blah blah....
basically your conclusion of roy right now is hes so shot, he shouldnt have enough stamina to roll out of bed, i completely and utterly disagree with you, so theres no point.
PLEASE do not get into this same **** again. We all know how you guys feel about this fight, I'm sure both of you are acquainted with each other's point of views.
