    I agree with you (finally)

Roy has to be active the entire fight to win. He needs to get in it with the crowd and whoop some ass!!

Jones has better hand speed, but doesn't throw combos like Calzaghe does.
Jones has better power as well.
Stamina goes to Calzaghe, who has never looked tired in a fight as far as I remember.

Also, Calzaghe has the better chin, and is better on his feet than Jones is now.

You have this ass backwards my friend. We know that the best that Roy can conceivably bring to the Ring is something like he was in Tarver 1, in all probability something much less. Calzaghe at his best and even a bit below his best beats that Roy, so in fact it depends which Calzaghe shows up. Roy isn't turning the clock right back, and its misleading to suggest that he could.

The question will be, I think: Does Roy have any shot whatsoever of stopping Joe?

Hopkins knocked him down in round 1, and I think Roy has more natural power at that weight because he's been fighting there much much longer than Bernard. Does anybody think Roy COULD stop Joe, not if he will, but if he COULD?

Stop him? No, I seriously do not see it happening. Roy would have to put together combos and mount a sustained assult, which I have not seen anything to suggest he can do anymore.

I think he could drop him, I was right on B Hop dropping him, and I got a feeling Roy will as well. If it does happen it will be in the first 6 rounds, Joe has a tendacy to square up a little and if Roy catches him with a quick right hand he could very well drop Joe
