see there's a man who gets it.

it's about skills not greatness or popularity.

people are naming guys with good power and great chin that were atg or great chin and good power that were atg.

we are suppose to name great power and great chin...... even if it's on mediocre fighters.

          can i say naseem hamed?

          is his chin good enough?

i think he had a great chin. but others say it wasn't.

if he rates as great chin then he should be up there with his power.

Gerald McClellan anyone? One of the few guys in history who sustained brain damage because his chin was so good, and allowed him to take massive beatdowns without getting knocked out.

Was Marciano ever down? He had pretty good power I thought.

Erik Morales had pretty good power and a great chin.

            Manny Pacquiao as well.

Israel Vazquez might top the list of the current guys.
wilcott has rocky dowm..but he wasnt down much

The thread is titled "Who had the Best Chin/Combo Ever", not "Mediocre fighters with the best Chin/Power Combo". Marvin Hagler is an ATG great because he had a great chin and power. And I wouldn't call Tua a mediocre fighter.

LOL Hamed got dropped like 50 times in his career

But I agree that it seems like people here are just naming popular fighters, many of whom have been dropped. If you've been dropped, you're immediately out of consideration. This thread says BEST CHIN/power, so if you've been knocked down, you're out.

Then you look at power and you're left with guys like McCall and Tua, who as far as I know have never been down and have KO'd a large portion of their opponents. I would put Vitali up there as well as WLAD OWNS said.

Naseem Hamed definitely should be on the list. I can't believe the assbeating he took from Barrera.

yeah he has like tito's chin.

hardly gets hurt but goes down a lot.

makes it hard to judge. you can say its stance or balance i guess so does that affect chin?
