Some of you guys are complete asses. If Pavlik loses we will say hes overrated? What the **** are you ass clowns smoking. Yeah Lacy is ****, HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ****. Lacy was overblown and didnt beat anyone worth a ****. Pavlik actually beat solid fighter and wouldn't be scoffed at if Calzaghe won. Its not an easy concept to figure out. Pavlik has done what exactly that puts him above Jeff Lacy's status pre-Calzaghe.

The excuse could easily be modified to "Pavlik is ****, HE ALWAYS HAS BEEN ****. He beat one decent fighter who was OVERRATED in Taylor".

That's funny, everyone seemed to think that Arthur Abraham was the **** after knocking out Edison Miranda... basing his "greatness" primarily on that win... not to mention Miranda is also on Pavlik's resume.

This thread is flawed anyway. As others have said, fans should simply enjoy watching great fights and not get so caught up with loyalties to individual fighters to the point that they bend over backwards exalting that fighter's dominance or making excuses for their shortcomings. In the end, those people always end up looking like little bitches and having to eat their words instead of just being able to shrug off errors in judgement and move on.

I don't see your point. We are talking resumes, thats all. Kessler > Pavlik > Abraham in that regard for me, although I can understand why others feel Pavlik's is better than Kessler's
