If Calzaghe Fights And Beats Pavlik...Will That Make You Dumb?

Some of you guys are complete asses. If Pavlik loses we will say hes overrated? What the **** are you ass clowns smoking. Any one with a brain would admit that they were wrong and that it was a great win by Calzaghe. You ******* act like people discredit anyone Joe beats when in reality thats not true. Yeah Lacy is ****, HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ****. Lacy was overblown and didnt beat anyone worth a ****. Pavlik actually beat solid fighter and wouldn't be scoffed at if Calzaghe won. You guys are *******s. Lacy and kessler didn't beat anyone. So the wins should be discredited. Pavlik is not even in the same realm as that. Use your ****ing heads.

I just want to see the fight. I can't remember ever conclusively saying one man or the other would win the fight, so no, it would not make me dumb.

It will shock the hell out of me though if these two don't fight eventually, as much as Calzaghe talks about Pavlik it's like he's got a crush on him or something. Or is trying to promote a future fight. For my own sanity, I'm pretending it's the latter.

good post. it does not make anyone better or worse if they pick wrong. who cares? what matters is that the fight gets made, and the best man wins. thats it. end of story. i like both fighters, pavlik a little more, but couldn't care less if i pick pav and he loses. you win some picks, you lose some picks...........at the end of the day.........it is what it is. i am a boxing fan. i want the big fights regardless of whether my boy wins or loses. fan of the sport always comes first with me!

Kessler's resume IMO is better than Pavliks. Pavlik has beaten Miranda and Taylor and well thats it. Kessler has beaten perhaps lesser competition (certainly better than Miranda who is a one dimensional slugger) but more of it. He has beaten Beyer, Sicia, Andrade, Sartison, Mundine. 3 of those were or become world Champions. Andrade is fighting for a title next. Pavlik has beaten Miranda and Taylor who many people said before the fight was a rubbish fighter and deserved to lose to Spinks/Winky/Hopkins. Then all of a sudden when he gets rid of Taylor he's a great win for Pavlik.

I agree. One opponent does not a resume make, especially when that opponent is Jermain Taylor.
