Joe Calzaghe called out Pavlik?

To be honest, if anyones lying it's probably not either of the fighters. Joes not ****** enough to say something like this knowing it's untrue, he knows he'd get major **** for it and look bad. Infact still might. So he's only saying it cos it's likely true.
Pavlik took awhile to deny Calzaghes claims, and has Bob Arum? Nope. Arum didn't even tell Pavlik he was on serious negotiations with Warren to fight Calzaghe. Why would he tell him he turned him down twice a couple of years before? Pavliks probably right in what he's saying, but poor bloke just isn't kept in the loop about his potential opponents.
That's why we have the situation of one guy adamant he offered 2 fights and was turned down, and another guy adamant he didn't turn them down.
Their actually BOTH right.
Think about it.Comment

When?
What evidence?????????Comment

How was that lying?? When Calzaghe wrote his book, Roy Jones was still lying on the canvas after being Knocked the **** out twice. Pretty much everyone thought he was done.
How is saying he didnt wanna fight him at that point equate to "lying"?

I love how when Cazlaghe says they offered Pavlik a fight, its immediately discredited
But when Pavlik says "oh no he didnt", everyone takes it as concrete evidence. Funny ****.

I never said that what Calzaghe was saying was true. Personally Im not privvy to such information and neither is any **** on here. So how can we take one person's word over the other?
I can see it being a case of Calzaghe wanting a tune-up and picking Pavlik but Pavlik was never really asked about it and his team refused straight out cos they wanted to get him more experience. Thats just my opinionComment
