Read what I said just now, The 2nd and 3rd Points cancel each other out, Joe says one thing, Pavlik says the other. No proof either way. It is nothing to do with believing either man. It's a fact

1- Calzaghe fights Roy, turns Pavlik fight down
2- He then claims they offered a fight to Kelly a while back
    3- Pavlik says they didn't.

Out of those points, only 1 is unchallenged, only 1 is proven and that's the 1st one. Hence, we are at Step 1.
Sorry I had to hit up the gym. I didn't realize what time it was.... anyway

I see your point. BUT the only conclusion I can come to is what KRISSILVER said and I still don't believe it all the way. But Kris had said they BOTH could be right and I thought about that at one point BUT if...

    A. Trust Joe's word (who hasn't given me a reason to), one can say yes he did offer PAV a fight.

    B. You can take PAV's word (who could have been left out of the loop by his people) and say he was never offered a fight.

When in theory Cal's people could have offered PAV's people a fight and not tell Pav about it. BUT I highly doubt that and without any clear evidence this is all we can accept EVEN though I don't believe 85% of what comes out of the Calzaghe camps mouth. But this is the only logical answer.

I was referring to the live satanta interview with Pavlik a little while ago. It was evidence of PAV stating Joe "never" offered him a fight. Even though its all he said she said and so on and so on.

I'm glad your giving it some credit, it's not as if it's harsh on Pavlik it's somewhat favourable on both guys, but more him.

Why would any man with common sense invent a story of offering a guy a boxing match twice years ago, with specific details, repeating it numerous of times - knowing it would bring him mostly criticism?

        Doesn't make sense.

        Neither guy is lying.

Pavlik took awhile to deny Calzaghes claims, and has Bob Arum? Nope. Arum didn't even tell Pavlik he was on serious negotiations with Warren to fight Calzaghe. Why would he tell him he turned him down twice a couple of years before? Pavliks probably right in what he's saying, but poor bloke just isn't kept in the loop about his potential opponents.

That's why we have the situation of one guy adamant he offered 2 fights and was turned down, and another guy adamant he didn't turn them down.

          Their actually BOTH right.

          Think about it.
I see yor point as my post above states. I agree with you....But I still think Joe talks BS and I dont trust his word one bit.

yeah but I would think (hope) if Joe actually DID offer Pav a SERIOUS invite to fight him PAV would have been told about it. Especially if it was a SERIOUS offer. BUT what you say makes cents and you know as I do if it don't make cents it don't make dollars.....
