Probably because he thought he won the fight and didn't want to travel back to Indonesia to get the same result as he got the first time. Whether the decision was fair or not, Marquez obviously didn't think so.

John is very hard to lure out of Indonesia it seems...

And really, I don't think this loss is really that big of a deal at this point. People are more worried about him actually getting a win over Pacquaio.

Well IMO, the money wasn't worth the aggravation with John because at the time, it was much a big blot on his career as having lost his belt to Pac at 130, however it was something he was willing to let pass. Pac however was dangling a bigger carrot, but with this impressive win against Casa, maybe Team Marquez realized Pac ain't the only game in town. They've got other options as big or even more rewarding than Pac. Anyway, that's how they're sounding right now, and I agree.

Hatton would be big legacy and money opportunity for JMM as it would be for Pac and the talk about going after bigger and more dangerous fish and ignoring 135 as being a ***** move (like some people were saying with Pac) has got to end.

No question. I don't really care much about John unless he starts going out of his shell and starts exploring the world outside.

The Casa win will open new doors for Marquez. He's his own man now other than being Pac's foil.
