cause he boxed hopkins and kept him at distance for much of the fights unlike calzaghe who rushed in like an idiot and got hit over and over. plus taylor landed his fair share of punches unlike calzaghe who landed pretty much nothing. also calzaghe went down like a chump. pinning your whole arguement on fake low blows. now that is pretty "low"

you dont make sense taylor looked better then joe. bernard looked worse then himself because he was older, which has nothing to do with what joe did in that fight but his age.

joe never looked as bad as taylor looked in the 2nd half of the 1st fight the last 3 rounds bernard used taylor he never used calzaghe.
calzaghe only got caught with th right hand in the 1st round because he was blocking hopkins head when the punch was thrown

Exactly, Calzaghe got knocked down but Taylor got hurt and was out-lasted down the stretch by a 40+ year old man while he was 25.

There was far more controversy in the Taylor decisions than the Calzaghe decision which mostly stems from Calzaghe haters. Joe didnt look great either but he clearly won the fight.

Ive been trying to avoid this forum for the sheer ******ty that would be posted trying to make Calzaghes record look good, but its been around for so ****ing long I cant resist. I don't care how many names from his record you can trace back to a contender or 1 defense titlesits, his record is ****. Like Ive said in the past the only names on his record that matter are wins over a overrated kessler, a gatekeeper Lacy, and an old ass Bhop. Anyone who think Calzaghe had a chance against Bhop or Jones 5 years ago is blinded by the 0 in Cals record and nothing else. That being said Pavlik will take him out in 10, end of story. If he retires without fighting the best guys in their prime, then he didnt do ****.
