LOL I didn't know they were booked to fight. Calzaghe will retire after Jones and duck Pavlik to the fullest. He wants no part of him.

BTW, that video was horrid. I could find better Calzaghe footage than that. You just portrayed his pity-pat style by posting that vid. Kessler was pretty much a nobody unless you're from Denmark or the UK. That video proved nothing. If a casual counter by a 43 year old Hopkins can put Calzaghe flat on his ass, what will a flush right from 'The Ghost' do

the only reason bernard landed that right hand was because joe was blocking hopkins head when the right hand came.
kessler would beat pavlik with no problems.
pavlik was pretty much a nobody even in the u.s until he fought taylor

You must not be from the U.S then. He was very well known even before he whooped Miranda's ass.

Well I assume everyone who posts on "boxing scene" really watches boxing.
I know who Kessler is and I have for awhile. To me, he's just another protected European fighter with a below average resume. He shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Pavlik, who knocked out Miranda and Taylor back-to-back and then beat Taylor easily in the rematch. What has Kessler done compared to that at any point in his career?

It's threads like these which make people despise Calzaghe.

Who the **** cares if he knocked out Miranda? Doesnt everyone do that these days? Miranda is **** and there are several better names on Kessler's record.

thats your oppinion and i guess i respect that but some people think taylor won the 2nd fight i don't but some do that just goes to show the differece in opinion .yeah you can say that kelly resume looks better than kesslers because of miranda and taylor but neither taylor nor miranda are any where near as good a boxer as joe calzaghe
