It will take something like this to make people interested in the fight.
It's hard to knock someone out who is doing everything in his power to avoid engagement. Johnson talks a good game though, I just wish he'd be interested in, I dunno, putting on a decent fight or something.

Damn, that is the first time I really listened and paid close attention to that 2-piece, Bowe was a straight up gangsta. That is about as hood as it gets. They have hoods in Finland?

Johnson ain't bad at all. Let this fight happen it's better then Rahman or Toney or Maskaev. Johnson would lose, probably KO or UD with a few knockdowns. You can watch him and Seldon here http://gofightlive.tv/priv/showFight...E06A9D9F25D3DB. I don't think Johnson will take the fight but maybe he'll grow a pair an take it.

There are no 'hoods', very few people really have it tough (although a lot of people make it tough for themselves with ) but there are a lot of people pretending to be 'hood'.

Nothing worse than a Finnish wannabe 'gangsta'.

In America, this is what fake gangstas look like:

What do they look like in Finland?

Johnson is a very good choice for a first proper opponent at heavyweight. Sure he hasn't got much power, but he is technically pretty good otherwise and looks quick for a heavyweight. He is also an undefeated prospect and an American one at that, which may boost Haye's profile with the casual fans (who, like it or not, make or break boxing megastars with their attention or lack of attention). Beating Johnson would be a decent win on his resume and technically he would have beaten a top 10 heavyweight.

I much prefer Johnson to the washed up Rahman, Maskaev or Toney. Although I can understand if he does settle for one of them. Seems quite a few people have been dodging the Hayemaker.
Yeah this is a great first fight for heavyweight, but with all the things he said about Toney, Rahman, Kiltschko. Ppl were expecting more in his debut from all his talk. Now its even more important who is second hw fight is against. Some KJ videos.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnRXjGIb8LM and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnRyiksKGrw

After all Haye's talk he comes up with this no. 25 HW in the world.... I'd say it's pretty dissapointing. I hope Haye wins big so he can take on a top guy next and then have a mega-fight with Wlad.

                  The oppenent is good,

The problem is Hayes talk leading up to this. If he had said nothing and then this, no probs. But with him saying it will be a Top 10 guy, Rumors of Rahman, Toney etc. And then he comes up wuth Keving Johnson...

It's a bit of a drop. But Johnson is an undefeated prospect, not a great fight. But not an aweful one imo

What Haye is doing is being sensible, he's testing the waters. It's proberbly better than a shot Rahman anyway.
