      We all would have loved to see a rematch, but LL did the best thing he could do for himself at that stage of his career. Do you not agree with this Herbert?
      i do agree, i think it was probably a wise move from Lewis,

      but 25+ million dollars to take another L would be tempting

        Lewis was past his best and knew it.
        That is why he retired like he said he always would.
        At his best he would have wiped the floor with Vitali.
        He was one of few who went out on top with his faculties.

            Lewis wasn't fully prepared either. He was supposed to fight Kirk Johnson.

            Lennox would have won the fight had it not got stopped on cuts anyways. Vitali had his chances early then Lewis started taking control.

              I wouldnt call it shot...Its more like he lost interest in fighting at that high level...He was not hungry it seemed and he didnt have the drive in him (just my personal opinion)

                He did look fat though for the fight.
                He was carrying some extra weight around 4sure.

                Looked like he had proved all he needed to prove by then and his heart
                didnt seem in that fight
