First Hatton, then Witter, then Clinton Woods and now Khan

Let's put things in perspective: Hatton lost to the p4p best guy in the world. You can't be considered to be "exposed" in that circumstance. Woods was never expected to win by anyone. Witter has consistently been described as **** by most British people (ie people who've seen him fight anyone apart from Zab Judah and Vivian "KTFOd by Carlos Maussa" Harris) and as has been mentioned before was hyped largely by Americans who wanted a stick to beat Hatton with. The only surprise about Witter's loss was that it was against someone largely unheralded.
Dimwitted yanks even tried to pull the "lamopown" stunt about Gary ****ing Lockett, a man whose boxing pedigree is on a par with the canine pedigree of this dog:

Fact is that Khan was massively hyped beyond all expectations. In the UK. He was never hyped in worldwide boxing circles, ever. In fact he was never really hyped in British boxing circles! He was hyped to the non-boxing British public but the question marks over his chin were too large to be ignored, and now all the questions have been answered.
In short I think Khan was a knockout just waiting to happen. Boxing fans knew it. Frank Warren knew it. Otherwise there's no way that a fight this unimportant would have been on pay per view. Frank wanted to withdraw the cash from his account.Comment

Oh and Haye has been the undisputed champion at Cruiserweight and has fought and beat a number of decent punchers. I can see him coming unstuck at heavyweight but not quite as disastrously as Amir.Comment

For every British boxer that loses, another one wins.
Today, an English boxer, Nicky Cook, won a world title. Froch will be fighting for another next month...
An American, Bernard Hopkins, lost the linear light heavyweight title this year to a British boxer.
And there are others coming up. Watch for Kevin Mitchell to make the UK proud in the years to come.Comment
