Calzaghe fought Hopkins 2 years after Taylor fact. Pavlik is fighting Hopkins 6 months later. 2 years or 6 months

Do you think Jermaine Taylor could beat Kessler?

        Calzaghe also defeated:

        Byron Mitchell, two-time world champion
Charles Brewer, world champion and tough as nails
Omar Sheika, who was coming off a win over Glen Johnson
        Robin Reid, world champion

Jeff Lacy was a world titleholder with a good chin, and was definitely better than the china-chinned Miranda!

Of course I do. I don't think a basic boxer like Kessler would be able to beat Hopkins

Anyone can be a world champion. Mundine had a SMW title, you think he would be able to win a MW now

I know this wont be popular but I think he is right. To me Joe's best win was hopkins witch is very impressive. Pavlik's best win is Taylor who beat Joe's best win twice. If Pavlik beat Hopkins (witch there is up in the air) then his resume in on par with Joe's. The whole thing of Kessler being better than Taylor is interesting to me because I feel Taylor has the bigger wins and made it through two tough matches with Hopkins. Kessler is good but I think he needs another big fight to see how good.

Kessler was unproven when Calzaghe fought him, his best win was Mundine
Taylor was proven beating Hopkins twice
