Why, because he picks Pav to beat your boy? Everyone is entitled to their opinion sir. Had he picked JC in the same fashion as he described Pav winning, you would of been his new best friend.

Looking at his other post, I see a pattern emerging

Calzaghe will never fight pavilk because he knows pavlik will punish him and joes little slaps couldnt knock out a junior middleweight let alone a guy like pavlik.

I voted not sure, because I don't think Joe is afraid, but I think Enzo sure is.

I also get a kick out of the people in here who state so matter of factually that Joe already won the fight anyway, let me explain something to you. He is 36 years old and in his last fight, he looked like utter ****, irregardless that it was Hopkins in the ring with him.

Pavlik may not be some unbeatable force, but Joe isn't one either. It is a good fight that should be made. I would slightly favor Joe to win, but Pavlik has a solid chance and I would not be surprised in the least if he tore up Joe's face and stopped him. I would also not be surprised if Joe out worked him.

Not really, its mostly because it seems a bit dumb.

If he posted the opposite though, I would be his friend, yes. I'm a ****er like that.

Why else would he not fight him?

Why would he? Pavlik isn't a proven super middleweight. What would Calzaghe have to gain from him? Why is it that every time a fighter challenges another fighter and they get turned down, every one acts as if he is ducking him. What if I go up to Tyson today and challenge him to a fight and he says no, does that mean he is afraid of me? I doubt it. He has nothing to gain. Jones looks better on a resume, if he loses to Jones, then he lost to one of the greatest fighters in history...If he wins, that just makes his resume that much more impressive. If he fights Kelly Pavlik, and loses, that would kill his legacy, and if he wins, they would say he beat an up and coming kid who has won a few good fights.

It's lose lose. Maybe if Pavlik gets past another legend such as Hopkins, then he might be an impressive name on Calzaghe record. Pavlik is a big name now, but who knows if he is going to be a legend. I like Pavlik, but so far he has only beat Taylor, an up and coming kid, and Miranda, another up and coming kid. Hopkins will be the first battle hardened fighter that has proven himself that will add some credit to Pavlik's record.
