The Ring may not be perfect, but it ****s all over the ABC bodies.
I don't care who it ****s on. All the Ring did was try to straighten out the corruption of the sanctioning bodies. This is all well and good. The Ring title and creation was extracted from Ring magazine. Without Ring mag, there is no Ring title. We don't need a new sanctioning body, or a Ring title fight unless we are going to do an overhaul on the rankings of every last fighter in the world.

Boof you should just let it go, he has responded appropriately to everything you have raised and you are on the verge of getting seriously owned.

Actually, Hopkins-Wright was promoted as a Ring-only title bout. The IBO wouldn't recognize it because it was at a catchweight. Hopkins proclaimed (like many other fighters) that the Ring belt was the only one that mattered anyway.

Let me break it down for you:

So then I brought up the IBC and the NYSAC being owned by mob dealers.

Then I list them being ranked in the top 10 and even gave you a case where a black fighter was ranked over a white one.

It is an official belt. Maybe they should charge 3% of a boxer's purse and assign bogus mandatories like Morrade Hakkar and Gary Lockett so they can be hmm?

Easy to read now or do I have to make them in pretty colors like we're in ****ing kindergarten?
I'm sorry, but did you just try to insult me???. I was just getting ready to say I respect your argument too lol.

This is all well and good for Hop, but for an up and coming fighter, this title means nothing.

I think most fighters feel the same way. I don't see how boof disagrees with any of this, but then again he scored clottey-margarito a draw so who knows.

They've clearly established themselves better then all the other bodies out there. They have made a clear top 10 ratings for each division and let the best fight for it.

And based on how corrupt the sanctioning bodies are, I say a new belt that actually follows the rules and has had past credibilty (Like The Ring proved to in the past) should be allowed to do that.

So which title would mean alot for a young fighter? and why would that belt mean more than the ring(the most celebrated belt of them all)?
