    Some thoughts inspired by Machiavelli...........

Does The Roach have the authority to make these grandiose and aggressive statements I wonder. He sounds more like a manager than a trainer.

I believe that Oscar will come in at about 146, that he's been keeping his weight under control, and, since Forbes, has not allowed it to get more than he can handle. I can't see him happily forgoing $3 mill for each lb overweight, and The Roach is talking about the weight "on the day of the fight"....I wonder??

Of course, and FAR MORE LIKELY, the $3 mil per lb. is nothing but a PR scheme, and It has been arranged previously with Arum and Manny's people so as to boost the fight.

My opinion is that Oscar had only to keep planting his very good straight left jab out there for Manny to impale himself on, to control the fight and get Manny discouraged. He could even beat him on points, like Forbes, and thereby, pave the way for another multimillion dollar fight against another top class boxing midget. If he beats Manny too easily, it will ruin the chances of this.

People seem to think that he had a tough time against Forbes, although he won every round, a clean sweep, so perhaps, with 2 boxing midgets in a row, this is Oscar's NEW career. And, don't forget, he's the #1 ranked light-middle in the world, according to boxrec.

He's desperately keen to become a billionaire, and a few successful fights like these could bring him "over the top" with little danger.....? Just a thought.

Agree 100%. That's why they put specific weights in the contract.

From Pacman's perspective this fight is awesome.

Even if he get planted face first.

I love boxing but I honestly can't see how boxers can show the same kind of fire and desire when this kind of money is in the works.

They take a hard punch it must be 'Oh yeah, thankyou very much that's $10 million dollars please'

These guys that fight at the top level for this kind of money are admirable. You know Pacman will go out on his arse.

To some people I guess making weight is optional.

Roach is allways trying to get someone to come in Dehydrated from making weight. He's the one that started talking about this bull**** fight.
