Your astonished comment that Freddie is " one of the best trainers in the sport" may e true....but think.......what has brought hiom to that level?? Only the continuing success of Manny P. Most of his other "the next champion" lot, have gone down to defeat, sopme to very bad defeat.

To my mind, apart from Manny, Freddy's reputation as "one of the best trainers etc.etc." is s based merely on people like you who repeat this saying.............. as if it were Holy Writ.

      Nothing more.............. Just my opinion.

Oscar hasn't made 147 since 2001 because he hasn't NEEDED to. Just consider that. Has there been a single time when Oscar was supposed to make weight...whatever weight...and not been able to make it?? Not to my knowledge. Oscar, it seems to me from his recent pictures, has lost some of his shoulder and underarm muscles, and, except for his stomach muscles, looks more like an ordinary guy now.

And I find it hard to believe that oscar would agree to 147 without being sure that he'd make it. I look for him to come in under 147, and boast about it-a typical Oscar stunt.

He's not going to be drained, and Roach is really counting on that. Once the fight in the ring comes, DLH will be rehydrated and big compared to manny...

yeah, i agree... weight drained or not pac is gonna get fugged up. the image of pac getting wobbled by a JMM left hook in the 2nd round of the rematch plays in my head... if dlh lands that hook pac won't get up.
