that's an impossible one, I dont agree with everything you typed like I'd give chin to PEA, but accuracy and bodyshots to PBF.

The main thing to which this boils down is that Whitaker was incredible in a more limited game, whereas Mayweather is more "average" in all compartments, and is the most adaptable and complete fighter since Leonard/Duran.

Yes, that is saying a lot, but it is what I see going on in the ring.

So if they ever met, what would do Pea's impeccable game? PBF bag of tricks? And even when assessing them against other greats. Who would do better against who?

NOTE: not saying Pea is a limited fighter in any way, just that PBF literally does it all.

pernell, IMO, was probably the greatest defensive fighter i've seen...a southpaw that was slick as ****...brilliant technician with great ring generalship

floyd is an awesome fighter...gifted with boxing fundamentals that only comes thru hard work, and bloodline....if those two fought, honestly, it might the only time we see PBF get frustrated against an opponent...in fact, it might be the only fighter that would force floyd to be more aggressive..and THAT would be a great sight...an agressive floyd vs a smooth-as-silk pernell
If those two ever fought it would a the most boring fight ever.

A good showcase of skill and a technical masterpiece. But watching these two fight would be like watching a snail race.

Agree and I know what your saying. You can debate the accuracy part but in almost every Whitaker fight he'd ALWAYS hit you. His jab would always land. Mayweather was the same but Pernell had a slightly better accuracy.

glad someone mentioned that JCC and Ramirez were robberies. We havent seen Floyd fighting at the age at which Pea fought Oscar.

The thing is pbf never clowns in the ring so he was less likely to have got into that bs decisions.

I give chin to pea just because of the tito fight where he was shot and taking all those blows from a monstruous puncher

What Makavelli said was true. Floyd might actually be the aggressor. This would make for a GREAT fight. You have a really bad imagination by the way.
