All fairness to Vanes, Hernandez didn't bother to show up in fighting shape and was well past his best days by the time Vanes fought him. Top Rank was also the promoter who was billing Tye Fields as a future heavyweight champion and I've never heard anyone refer to Medina as a prospect.

Still, Vanes is a decent fighter with some hand speed, he just doesn't rely enough on his jab for my taste.

you are kidding right? there are tons of fighters that have gone through TR and Shelley's hands that have been doo doo. It's part of the game, you get prospects in hopes they pan out and if they dont you farm them out as tough journeyman types or if they fear that they arent as good as they invested they keep them soft until they cash them out

I have sparred and helped train plenty of fighters from there. Yeah I might have been holding spit buckets and giving guys water, but that what the **** you have to do to get experience. Start from the bottom. you cant build a building with out a foundation. You are a sideline spectator. My father was a trainer and assistant trainer with Kenny Weldon and helped train and trained fighters like Lupe Suarez, Jesse Benavidez and plenty of others. I guess Ronnie and Derwin and Ced never held a spit bucket and gave fighters water. Naw they were born World Champion Trainers. Get the **** out of here. I know more about boxing then you will ever forget.

They wanted me to spar Swamp, Dominick, Holyfield, Clarence, and others in there, but I dont know ****. The only reason I didnt was because I was out of shape.

Go continue to be a spectator, cheerleader, nut hugger and Vanes mistress. Leave the actual boxing part to people that know what they are talking about. And aren't just going by hear say.

He signed with Golden Boy in the 11th grade for 250K. So I think GBP has the best interest in him and in their company. They will definitely want to see a return on that money. But he can hang with the best of them. He has sparred Juan and Jose plenty and more than held his own.

Matt Vanda was a nobody that lost on FNFs and was basically retired before fighting the fighto f his life against JCC Jr. Camacho has lost to way lesser opponents. I will saythat if Camacho can dedicate himself and focused, he has great boxing ability.

A focused in shape, ready and mentally stable Camacho Jr. would probably outbox Vanes. Vanda would be a punching bag. He fought the fight of his life against JCC, I dont think that he could do it again.
