and this opinion of Roy needing to stay off the ropes is also wrong.. the ropes are a good place to be for an older veteran fighter... if in fact roys legs are weaker than Joes... then staying in the middle of the ring gives Joe the advantage... staying on the ropes takes legs out of the equation, and now its whose better with the hands, and i take even this roy all day long over joe with the hands...
Go ahead Joe, flurry your wide little combo heart away while roy is on the ropes... see what happens.
now that you mention it the combos Roy was throwing off the ropes against Hanshaw were nasty..........he even knocked him down off the ropes

so it may not be a bad idea after all
yeah.... and in the 11th ROUND, which is the biggest deal... since people are talkin about his stamina... he sure had the stamina to throw one of the fastest 3 punch combos to the face ive ever seen in the 11th round

amen to that!!
that **** was sick........i thought i was watching a old Roy fight when i saw him do that
people talk about joes workrate... but when you get punched faster than youve ever been punched... and you get beat to the punch... when you try to come in and do your thing.. BAM BAM real fast... im telling you... your workrate gets cut in half...
and now its... clean effective punches vs a dwindling workrate
