Should Calzaghe be P4P number one in the RING rankings?

There have been numerous posts about how if Calzaghe were American he would be the P4P best fighter in the world and that it is because of his nationality he ranks as number two. Is this true?

LOL,no I don't think he is P4P number one but some people truely believe he isn't because of his nationality.

I don't think that he'd be ranked #1 if he was American. I think his ranking would still be #2.

yea and those numerous posts are either from nuthuggers or haters mocking calz. like clegg said, even if he was american he would still be at #2.

I have been drinking, and my opinion hasn't changed.

Pacquiao's resume far outweighs the easy #2 Calzaghe.

              Christ...

              2-0 vs. Barrera
              1-0-1 vs. Marquez
              2-1 vs. Morales

Absolutely destroyed Diaz to win a belt at 135.

How can Calzaghe bring up anything on his resume to even get close to topping that? Ridiculous.

You talk the truth as much as anyone on these boards.

I doubt it. I wouldn't imagine that too many UK media P4P lists have him at #1 either.

imagine if lacy cleaned out the division unified the titles defeated hopkins and still remained undefeated 45-0 the hype would be mad for this guy and the ring mag would buy it and put him at number 1
