tito had 1 fight at middleweight before he fought hopkins.

it is true that he was probably good enough to clean out 160 if bernard wasn't there though. 160 was pretty bad.

but there's a reason they matched up holmes-hopkins first and joppy with tito. joppy while a natural middleweight was a small middleweight.

        True,

Tito wasn't the greatest Middleweight. But I still feel he is a good win for Hopkins as Tito had proven he was at least a competative middleweight by beating Joppy,

Say that Joel Casamayor beats Pacquiao, How would you rate that win for Casa? (Or any other Top Lightweight)

Tito may have been a middleweight at the time but that doesn't take away from the fact that Tito wasn't as good a middleweight as he was a Welterweight. Just because he KO'd Joppy and Hopkins couldn't just shows Tito had more power. It isn't as if Joppy is a defensive master. Tito is a good win not a great one.

When he fought Hopkins (2001) He had not been at Welterweight for 2 years. He was his best at Welter, But at that time he had grown into a Junior Middleweight.

very good win. manny might be a natural feather but he was clearly the best superfeather one division down.

casa win over manny would be exactly the same as the hop win over tito.

2 older , naturally bigger fighters beating naturally smaller but powerful punchers who dominated the divisions below them.
