Margarito-Cotto Rematch Would be Life Threatening for Cotto

I think Cotto wins big next time around. The nose was a factor as were the 4 low blows/headbutt from Margarito. How ironic that all the Cotto haters were talking about Cotto's low blows when all along it was Margarito's style. The rabbit punches too are not cool.

Cotto will beat him in the rematch. Unless of course Margarito lands his special nosebreaker punch again.

Few simple tweaks for Cotto: Keep hands up when sliding away on ropes.Margarito got a lot of free hits that were key in Cotto's demise. Guard the uppercut better too.

Margarito will only win rematch if Cotto sits on ropes again and lets Margarito land 3 uppercuts in a row with the same SLOW left hand... Doubtful.

Agree... Margo did damage on ropes. Cotto allowed Marg to pressure by walking backwards. Had he stayed center, and threw straight down the middle.. Margarito would have been seriously deterred from walking in.

If you watch the fight you will see how Cotto initiates the back foot with NO pressure from Margarito. It's as if he thought this was the way to lure Marg in. No way in hell, Cotto make it this easy for Margarito again. He will adjust and win big. For those saying a rematch is not needed, you are not boxing fans but groupies trying to preserve Margarito's 1st impression over Cotto. This is not the 1st time a better man loses to a scrub and Cotto will prove that if Margarito ever gets into the ring with him again.

All the planets would have to once again align in Margo's favor in the rematch. I don't se Cotto fighting from round 2 with a busted nose and having his oxygen intake reduced in the rematch. Coto will also have to LET margarito walk up to him on the ropes and land 3 straight uppercuts... Not gunna happen again. Cotto's lungs gave out on him not his heart. You will see in the rematch.

I've seen a recent pic of Cotto, and I noticed that his nose is sort of weird shaped or crooked..dont think a rematch will be good for him.
